Welcome to the Fordham Boarding Cattery Website

Our cattery is built and managed to Feline Advisory Bureau standard and so offers a high standard of boarding for your feline companions.

Purchased in July 2008 by the new owners, Trevor and Keren Goff, Fordham Boarding Cattery opened in 1996 and is situated in the rural village of Fordham, perfectly located for the surrounding towns and villages of Burwell, Ely, Mildenhall, Newmarket, and Soham, and only 11 miles from the University City of Cambridge.

We always welcome and encourage owners to visit our cattery to discuss anything they may be concerned with regarding boarding, especially if their pet has not been boarded before. We are happy to show you round the cattery, so you can view the facilities available, and view some of the cats in situ.

We have 29 full height chalets with adjoining covered runs, with tinted roofs to protect cats from UV rays.

All chalets have full height sneeze barriers so cats can see each other but are unable to make contact. There are 2' (60cm) gaps between each pair of chalets to ensure plenty of air circulation, therefore minimising the risk of infection.

The chalets are heated & all overlook the garden providing double, quadruple and family occupancy (only cats from the same household may share chalets) We also have purpose built removable weather screens for protection against the elements.

Collection & Delivery Service

We do offer a collection and delivery service for clients in the local area on a first come first served basis. There is a charge for this service due to the increasing rise in fuel costs. Please see the Booking Page for details.
